The Challenge – Disability and Life Insurance Website
Suzanne Schneider deals with the insurance that most people do not want to think about – long-term care insurance, life insurance, Medicare, disability insurance and employee benefits. As a broker, her insurance website design needed to be upbeat yet serious, optimistic yet realistic. Her old site was just a placeholder, so we were starting from scratch.
Our Approach
Suzanne had already consulted with graphic designer, Kristie Hansen-Kemp to develop a cheerful logo. We took this and played it into a header banner for each page.
Suzanne also collaborated with Carolyn Kohler to develop text and SEO tags for the website. This needed to be done for both her office – San Rafael and San Jose.
Many insurance sites are full of carefully posed families, usually pale themselves, and usually isolated against a white background. But this is not life. Life is full of real people, out doing things. So those are the images we selected.
The Website
The website is lively and friendly – ready for the individuals and emplyee benefits mangers who are the core of the client base. It conveys a professional image, but a friendly professional image.
